Your questions, answered
The quick answers — and our team is one email away for anything else.
I tried retinol and it stung — why is this gentler?
Ours is a low 0.1% retinol, buffered with 6 types of hyaluronic acid for a cushioned feel. Retinol can still irritate if introduced too quickly, so patch-test first, start a couple of nights a week and build up as your skin allows.
Will it make me peel or purge?
Peeling or sensitivity can happen if you go too fast. Introduce it gradually, moisturise well, and skip a night if skin feels sensitive. Always wear SPF during the day.
How often should I use it?
Start with 2 evenings a week, building to every other night as tolerated. A little goes a long way — a few drops is plenty.
Can I use it with my other products?
Yes. Apply to clean, dry skin in the evening, then follow with moisturiser. Introduce one active at a time and pause anything that stings.
Does it contain fragrance?
Yes — the Retinol Serum contains added fragrance. If your skin is fragrance-sensitive or highly reactive, patch-test first and introduce it slowly. For a no-added-fragrance option, choose the Daily Moisturizing Cream.
Can I use it while pregnant or breastfeeding?
No — don't use retinol during pregnancy or breastfeeding unless your doctor or midwife says it's OK. Reach for the Daily Moisturizing Cream instead; it's a gentle, barrier-first choice.
How fast is shipping?
Free UK shipping on orders over £35. Orders ship within 1–2 business days.
